2-Day Advanced Scout First Aid Course

This is a bespoke course designed by Train First Aid. It covers all of the First Aid requirements set out by the Scout Associations for the Adult Leaders requiring a 12-hour First Aid qualification in order to run adventurous activities or working in Terrain Two environments.

The course is split over 2-days. The first day is the same as our standard 1-Day Scout First Aid Course and meets the requirements of the Scout First Response Certificate. The second day builds on this knowledge and covers advanced injuries common in an outdoor environment such as spinal, head, bone and muscle injuries.

The course designed for those that want to develop their skills to a high level and covers a broad range of first aid scenarios, specifically focussing on scenarios in an outdoor environment. It also includes a detailed discussion of First Aid equipment available.

This course meets the requirements set out by the Scout Association for those working in Terrain Two environments or running adventurous activities. To see our Scout First Aid guidance click here.
