First Aid training in Schools is critical. In the UK only 1 in 10 people survive a cardiac arrest. However, in Norway the survival rate is 1 in 5. It is now widely recognised that the high survival rates in Norway may be because First Aid Training is part of the core curriculum at Schools. We believe everyone should learn some basic First Aid skills at School.
What we can offer:
First Aid Training for Students
We can provide one-off First Aid lessons for students to teach them some basic First Aid Skills. Or more specific First Aid Courses tailored to those undertaking D of E expeditions for example.
First Aid Training for Staff:
We offer a wide range of First Aid Courses suitable for staff at your School. In particular, our 12-hour Paediatric Course or 18-hour First Aid at Work Course. We can also offer specialised training in the use of Auto-Injectors if required.
We can also be very flexible with times, including splitting up courses into several blocks. These can be run for a few hours after school each day.
First Aid Presentations:
We regularly provide presentations at School assembly to increase awareness of First Aid, and to teach students some very basic First Aid Skills. If you would like to find out more, please contact us.
